WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY
My friend, Curt Shoemaker, has done it again. He has recorded some of the finest steel guitar music you will ever hear. As an inductee into the Kansas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, Curt continues to thrill his fans with his special "tough and tone" on the steel guitar. You will be totally "blown away" but his work on this album.

I've always loved the steel guitar. I remember listening to country artists like Hank Williams & Faron Young when I was a kid. Always had a steel guitar in the band. There have been well over 150 cover versions of "The Lion". This rendition by Curt Shoemaker would have to be one of my favorites!

I've loved the sounds of the steel guitar for as long as I can remember. However, in my more than 50 years of creating Beautiful Music format for radio, it wasn't until recently that there was much in recordings of the steel guitar I felt comfortable including in my programming...that is until one day a few short years ago a CD by Curt Shoemaker landed on my desk. Since then, Curt's sweet sounds have been heard daily on Sirius XM's Escape channel.
